PC Hardware Consultancy

Ever thought that the PC hardware after sales service is poor and worried of being conned by dishonest PC vendors? I notice that this is still happening in Malaysia. Common problems faced by Non-IT folks are:

1. being conned to purchase lousy PC components because nobody is able to help providing an honest opinion.

2. fixing new hardware in the CPU without being provided any driver installation disk. Getting the driver after several months down the road after the hard disk is being formatted triggers new purchase because the non-branded hardware cannot be auto-detected by windows & the driver cannot be found on the net.

3. Old PC can be scavenged to re-use some old components but the salesperson usually does not educate the customer about this.

4. After purchasing the hardware, non-IT folks may not know where to plug the cables or even get the hardware running (i.e. installation of driver)

5. No idea how to troubleshoot PC problems.

If you ever need this kind of help in Petaling Jaya, feel free to let me know by leaving me a message and contact info.

King of The Road

Once in a while you may encounter very nice drivers on the Malaysian roads but I think the number of shit heads and "kiasu" are increasing these days. The way the shit heads drive sometimes pissed me off! I am not talking about those using middle finger or middle toe here. I am talking about drivers with irritating rudeness and selfishness. I think there should be a law to down grade those "rude" automobile drivers to bicycle cyclists or their cars should have stickers labeled "Asshole On The Road! Beware!". The behaviour that I call rude and selfish are:

1. Jump queue by squeezing in without providing any signal

2. Using the emergency lane to jump queue

3. Turning to the left or right without providing any signal

4. Rushing towards you to block your way purposely when you're signaling to turn out to another lane

5. Using the incorrect lane to block the way of all the traffic behind i.e. using the U-turn lane without making U-turn

6. Hogging the fast lane and keep driving slowly regardless on incoming cars behind

7. Tailing the car in front to force it to be driven faster even it has reached beyond the maximum speed limit

I notice that these breed drivers consist of people from all kinds of age, race and gender. I think the government should introduce mentality and psychological tests for such drivers.

Music or Social Issue Blog?

If you notice, you could be wondering whether I am about to convert this blog from music related blog to a social issue blog. The answer is no. This blog will not be restricted to any agenda. I rather make it a anything-goes blog.

The Curse To Criminals

The crime rate in Klang Valley is so bad these days. Sometimes you don't even feel safe staying in your own house.

Another house was ransacked in SS3, Petaling Jaya, yesterday in a broad daylight. It was not the first time that such incident happened in that area. God knows how many times such incident has re-occured over the years. I remember while walking along the same row of houses a few years ago, I met a Malay couple. They told me that their house was ransacked in a broad daylight. The bloody thief entered the house through the back door and escaped through the back door. The situation was similar for yesterday's case. The thief escaped through the back door although I am not sure how the thief entered the house. I believe the same thief may have been terrorising that area for years. I wonder what have the authority has been doing to deal with criminals. Basically it's not effective!!

I have no objection if Islamic Hudud law is implemented to reduce crime rate. Chopping their hands and legs are no big deal because these criminals do not treasure their own lives or other people's lives anyway. I have no objection even if death sentence is imposed on them. They cause psychological fear, physical fear and mentality fear to the public. So they should receive similar "curse" in return.

The word "they", I am referring to house thieves, robbers, snatched thieves, pick pockets, extortionists and other parasites of the societies. This is not a political issue but a social illness that the world should eliminate. Call me a "hardcore criminals hater" if you want.....you'll understand my hatred if you have faced a criminal.
