A three-decade old goth band that is still going strong. I almost went to their concert in Sheffield University which was a few hours drive from the smalltown I used to study called Stafford. Unfortunately, Robert Smith fell ill and concert was postponed to a date after I left England.

8. Girlfriday - Nice Stupid Playground
LP: My Life Is My Parents' Biggest Television
Released in 2000 (Positive Tone)
An indie band from Sarawak. Specialised in sweet catchy melodic indie songs just like OAG, The Times, Flop Poppy, etc.

9. Everyday Is Like Sunday - Morrissey
LP: Suedehead - The Best of Morrissey
Released in 1997
Originally from Morrissey's first solo album, Viva Hate, which was released in 1988
Morrissey is a former lead singer of The Smiths. A well respected British singer in the UK's alternative music scene since the 80s.

10. Hideous Towns - The Sundays

Released in 1990
David Gavurin (guitar), Harriet Wheeler (Vocal), Paul Brindley (Bass) and Patrick Hannan (Drums)
A well known British dream-pop band in the 80s - 90s.

11. Live It Up - Juliana Hatfield
LP: Bed (Zoe Records)
Released in 1998
A former member of Blake Babies. Also associated with The Lemonheads at one time.

12. So Mad - Frente
LP: Shape
Released in 1996
An Australian band well known in the 90s. The female lead singer, Angie Hart, eventually formed a band called Splendid with her husband. However the album is nowhere to be seen in Malaysia. It is also rare internationally.

13. Keep Holding Me - The Muffs
LP: Happy Birthday To Me
Released in 1997
An under-rated Amarican punk-pop band that is famous for producing cathy melodic punk-pop songs

14. Oceans and Blue Skies - Swallow

Released in 1992 (4AD)
A British dream-pop band consists of Mike Mason & Louise Trehy

15. Bright Yellow Gun - Throwing Muses
LP: University
Released in 1995 (4AD)
An American dream-pop band. Consists of Kristin Hersh, David Narcizo & Bernard Georges. Kristin Hersh went solo after it was disbanded

Tanya Donelly eventually went solo after Belly was disbanded

A British indie/dream-pop band famous in the 90s

21. Summerhead - Cocteau Twins

Another well known British dream-pop band that sometimes incorporates darker goth element
